A MYSTERIOUS & MANY-LAYERED WORK OF GENIUS
STOPFRAME ANIMATION / 4min 20sec An experimental film commission for ROOT 1066 Festival. The film incorporates colours, shapes and sounds informed by ROOT 1066 projects alongside descriptions of the Bayeux Tapestry voiced by local historian Geoff Hutchinson. The film was produced with paper and cellophane cut-outs on a custom-made multiplane camera rig and LED lightbox, using Dragonframe and edited in Final Cut. READ MORE HERE |

CRAFTMOBILE KICKSTARTER
STOPFRAME ANIMATION / 1 MIN 30 SEC / UK / OCT 2015 ABOUT THE CLIENT Designers / Makers is an Agency supporting freelance Designers offering them an online platform from which to sell their work and curate regular selling/marketing events in collaboration with other cultural institutions to reach new audiences. PROJECT BRIEF Designers/Makers were planning a Kickstarter campaign to fund a mobile shop (Craftmobile), and required an animation to promote the project on their website and on social media. The animation needed to be colourful and playful whilst explaining the project clearly. |

THE GREAT WORK
ANIMATION / 4 MIN 28 SEC / UK / SEPTEMBER 2014 Stop-frame animation by Brighton-based art company Borbonesa, produced in collaboration with the musician and sound artist Robert Stillman; an exploration of colour, shape and movement in seven parts. It will have its first public screening on Sunday 7th December 2014 at Dukes at Komedia, and will be viewable online soon after. |
