MOBILE@PRIORY COOKBOOK DESIGN
Borbonesa worked with the Priory School over a six month period acting as consultants for the design and delivery of new lessons promoting and developing the use of mobile technology throughout the school as a positive and powerful means to engage and enhance learning. The Mobile@Priory Project won an Education Innovation Award, 2012.
Session planning centred around exisiting schema to be shaped by the need to demonstrate clear learning outcomes. The collaborative and open planning sessions had to allow particpants to contribute and share ideas and knowledge of technology and best practice and experience of teaching and learning.
Outcomes had to include lessons highlighting SEAL learning, the use of iPADs, student mobile devices, QR codes and the internet to create more engaging experiences. The new lesson designs had to be shared in a printable 'cookbook', and made available to all staff.
I lead designer of the cookbook document, and each of the activity worksheets which were included at the back as folded A3 worksheets. The document was uploaded to issue and made accessible to staff who could download and print the cookbook for use in lessons.
